Nothing's Permanent: A lesson learned from Toy Story 3

Image
I just watched Toy Story 3... funny that in all animated movies, i got so teary-eyed when Andy left all of his toys to Bony. Those toys have been with him through the years... they have been played by him all his childhood years. These toys were the unnoticed witnesses of Andy's journey.. happiness, sadness and tears. And for me, honestly, watching this animated film, i never thought i will shed a tear.. but i did.

What to do with Doubt?

Ngunit at the time when he was about to give up, he heard one voice.

Amidst Adversity, Stay Inspired!

The truth is, I haven't understood a bit of today's lecture on physiology about the pulmonary ventilation. "I want to sleep!" is the only thing that runs thru my mind. I just can't sleep in class due to the fact that I am seated on the extreme front row of the class. This is quite a heavy day. Let me remove the word "quite": this is a heavy day. Quiz, quiz, quiz.. stess! Stress! Stress!

The Beautiful Side of Alzheimer's

Alzheimer’s dse -also called senile dementia of the Alzheimer type (SDAT), primary degenerative dementia of the Alzheimer's type (PDDAT), or Alzheimer's—is the most common form of dementia. This incurable, degenerative, and terminal disease was first described by German psychiatrist and neuropathologist  Alois Alzheime r in 1906 and was named after him. Moving on… There is not even a single perfect human being who exists today. All of us fall short, all of us do have some bloopers in our lives that make it hard for us to move on and go forward. We tend to live our lives with the expectations of people around us that if we “accidentally” said something stupid, it will make us curl up and hide in our shell for some time and sometimes as we wish forever.

MASKS...

one of life's lesson: not all that our eyes can see is real “Now I see, if I wear a mask, I can fool the world but I cannot fool my heart” Why people tend to conceal to the world the real them? Pretending they someone they are not. Act as if they are stronger, wiser and better… sometimes, when we look at people, we might think that we can see who they really are based on the things our naked eyes can perceive but we’ll never know. Every day, we human beings have this habit of looking and watching and critically scrutinize a person from a far whom we barely even know.
