The Beautiful Side of Alzheimer's

Alzheimer’s dse-also called senile dementia of the Alzheimer type (SDAT), primary degenerative dementia of the Alzheimer's type (PDDAT), or Alzheimer's—is the most common form of dementia. This incurable, degenerative, and terminal disease was first described by German psychiatrist and neuropathologist  Alois Alzheimer in 1906 and was named after him.

Moving on…
There is not even a single perfect human being who exists today. All of us fall short, all of us do have some bloopers in our lives that make it hard for us to move on and go forward. We tend to live our lives with the expectations of people around us that if we “accidentally” said something stupid, it will make us curl up and hide in our shell for some time and sometimes as we wish forever.

If I’ll be given a chance to choose what disease will I die of… (wish there isn’t any, but if I had to choose), I’d rather not opt for Alzheimer’s.  because if I’ll be having this, I can’t bear in my heart the heartache my loved ones will be feeling if I can barely remember who they are and their significance in my life..
But in a non-literal way, Alzheimer’s just makes perfect sense!

Beautiful side of Alzheimer’s: it is when you finally able to forget all that went wrong in your life.

Sometimes when we did something stupid and embarrassing, said the wrong words, hurt somebody, failed a relationship..we had this thinking of “Ctrl-Alt-Delete” everything and try to reformat our mental computer and start all over again, or more so, buy a new central processing unit. But that is impossible.

Life’s like that.
Sometimes I wish I had alzheimer’s in certain part of my life that I can be able to forget all that went wrong. But upon thinking about that, I had this realization that, we might not be able to recognize the meaning of life if we always run and cover, hide and forget those things that went wrong in our life. Because of these stuffs that we become stronger and perhaps better. It is because of failures and embarrassment that we try to persevere to do change. And it is God’s way of molding us into a person of worth and value.

Think about it.
