Amidst Adversity, Stay Inspired!

The truth is, I haven't understood a bit of today's lecture on physiology about the pulmonary ventilation. "I want to sleep!" is the only thing that runs thru my mind. I just can't sleep in class due to the fact that I am seated on the extreme front row of the class.

This is quite a heavy day. Let me remove the word "quite": this is a heavy day. Quiz, quiz, quiz.. stess! Stress! Stress! At dahil dyan bigyan nyo nga ako ng limang milyong dahilan para ma-inspire??!!!

After graduating from college, I had this "excitement" inside me about my future of being a medical doctor that in just four years time, I can have the right to put that MD at the end of my name. But somehow, along the way, I'm kinda bit lost my fire. We are already halfway through the first semester and as I continue on this journey of becoming a physician, it seems that my level of enthusiasm was already stale and stagnant compared to the burning desire I had at the start of the class.

To tell you honestly, I feel like my life now is a routine. Mundane chores of waking up, fixing myself, go to school, listen, go home, study, wake up, fix myself, go to school..blah..blah..blah.. I don't have the zeal and vigor to go to school anymore, I just do because I feel like I need to do it. That's it!

But I consider what my dad is always telling us when we were still kids that, THERE IS ALWAYS A ROOM FOR THE BEST! Don't ever get up and say, "I'm satisfied with mediocrity" No! Everything should be done with vigor and enthusiasm. Give it up your best and there will always be a room for you ( I should be saying this to myself). whoever you are, you might be a tailor, janitor, teacher, nurse, cook, housekeeper, medtech, accountant, or in whatever field you may be in, if you are giving your best, you are the best in that field, people will look for you. Wherever you are in life, make the most out of it and be the best that you can be.

Don't think that it is only through having a boyfriend that you can be inspired.* Our lives need to be inspired, infused and filled afresh with God's goodness every day. We may not have the perfect situation in life, but we can still choose to live each day with inspiration and enthusiasm.

Still, at the end of this day, even though I felt life is already a routine for me, now I had realized that I'm going to reach my full potential with my LORD as my inspiration.
